Description More about this product
This wonderful cross is crafted entirely from genuine red coral, showcasing the rich, natural color and organic beauty of this traditional material. The pendant is decorated with 18kt yellow gold and adorned with natural white pearls, creating a refined contrast between the warm gold, the vivid coral, and the soft luminosity of the pearls. The front of the cross features six small pearls arranged with delicate balance, while the hook is embellished with an additional three pearls, enhancing the overall elegance of the piece.
Dating from the 1920s, this cross has been preserved in excellent condition, displaying only normal signs of minor wear consistent with its age. As with all real coral, the material naturally presents variations in color along with subtle surface irregularities. Small holes, fine veins, and slight textural differences are not defects but rather authentic characteristics that confirm the coral’s natural origin and add to the individuality of the piece.
This pendant is a beautiful example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, combining precious materials and thoughtful design to create a distinctive and timeless jewel.
