The ring is worn on the finger by both men and women. It is one of the most popular jewelry since the dawn of time. Ruby is the red variety of the mineral "corundum" and it has been mined from the gravels of Sri Lanka since at least the 8th century BCE. This wonderful spanish ring is set with a 0.50ct central oval-cut Ruby surrounded by 16 brilliant-cut white Diamonds for 0.50ct total. The ring is in very good used condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with the age of the jewel.
