Description More about this product
The ring is worn on the finger by both men and women. It is one of the most popular jewelry since the dawn of time. Apart from its decorative aspect, the ring can have different roles: sentimental meaning, social or religious function, recognition, etc. Rings from the 50s are more boldly colored than those from the 40s, thus combining colored stones such as Amethyst, Citrine, Ruby with Diamonds. Ruby is the red variety of the mineral "corundum" and it has been mined from the gravels of Sri Lanka since at least the 8th century BCE. This wonderful spanish ring is set with a 0.50ct central oval-cut Ruby surrounded by 16 brilliant-cut white Diamonds for 0.50ct total. The ring is in very good used condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with the age of the jewel.
